Vasai-Virar City Mahanagarpalika: Pharmacist Openings under NUHM & NTEP

The Vasai-Virar City Mahanagarpalika has announced a recruitment drive for Pharmacists to be engaged on a purely contractual basis for a period of 11 months. These positions are distributed across the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) and the National Tuberculosis Eradication Program (NTEP).

Eligibility Criteria

MPC Registration: Candidates must be registered with the Maharashtra Pharmacy Council.
Age Limit (as of the advertisement date):
- Open/General: 38 Years
- Reserved Categories: 43 Years
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with higher educational qualifications and relevant experience in government or private institutions.

Selection Process

Merit-Based: Selection will be done via a scoring method based on final-year graduation marks and additional qualifications.
Ratio: Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:3 or 1:5 ratio for final selection.
No Regularization: These are purely contractual posts; candidates cannot claim regular government service benefits.
