CCRH India Recruitment 2026: 17 Research Fellowships & Scientist Vacancies in Pharmacy & Life Sciences

The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), an autonomous apex body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has announced a major recruitment drive for 2026. Seeking to bolster its scientific output, the Council is inviting eligible candidates for 17 contractual positions across various disciplines, including Pharmacology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Microbiology.

These positions are spread across key Indian cities including New Delhi, Kolkata, Bhopal, and Agartala.

Position Breakdown & Eligibility

1. Scientist ‘C’ (Non-Medical) – 02 Posts

Focused on genomics and potencies of homoeopathic medicines.

• Location: Kolkata (Interview held in Agartala).
• Requirement: Ph.D. in relevant fields (Biotech/Genetics/Physics/Chemistry) + 8 years of experience.
• Remuneration: Starting at Rs. 69,700 + HRA.

2. Research Associate & Senior Research Fellows (SRF)

• RA (Biotechnology): Ph.D. or 3 years research experience. Salary: Rs. 58,000 + HRA.
• SRF (Chemistry): M.Sc. Chemistry/Biochemistry or M.Pharm with research experience and publications. Salary: Rs. 42,000 + HRA.

3. Junior Research Fellows (JRF) – Multiple Disciplines

• Pharmacology: M.Pharm/M.V.Sc or M.Sc Life Sciences with animal handling experience. Salary: Rs. 37,000 + HRA.
• Chemistry/Biochemistry: Masters degree; experience in HPLC/HPTLC preferred. Salary: Rs. 35,000 + HRA.
• Microbiology: Master’s degree in Microbiology. Salary: Rs. 37,000 + HRA.

4. Project Associates & Support Staff

• Principal Project Associate: Ph.D. + 5 years experience or PG + 8 years experience in Virology/Animal experimentation. Salary: Rs. 67,000 + HRA.
• Project Associate II (Bhopal): Graduate/Post-graduate in Science/Pharmacy + 2 years R&D experience. Salary: Up to Rs. 42,000 + HRA.
• Pharmacist/Dispenser (Bhopal): 12th Pass + 1 year experience in Homoeopathic dispensing. Salary: Rs. 20,000 (Consolidated).

Walk-In Interview Schedule

Interviews will be conducted in person at the respective regional institutes. No advance application is required; candidates must report between 09:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Candidate Instructions

1. Application Format: Download Annexure-I from the official CCRH website.
2. Required Documents: Bring self-attested copies and originals of all educational certificates, experience letters, and a passport-size photo.
3. Nature of Job: Purely contractual, initially for 6 months (except Scientist roles which are 3 years), extendable based on performance.
4. Selection: Preferences are given to NET/GPAT/GATE qualified candidates.

How to Prepare

For the technical roles, ensure you are familiar with advanced instrumentation.

Reviewing recent monographs or scientific journals from the Ministry of AYUSH will also provide a significant advantage during the interview.
