The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, is inviting applications for a high-impact research position under the Laboratory Oncology Unit at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (Dr. BRAIRCH).
The project, titled “Identification of BCR:ABL1 Independent Resistance Mechanisms from Multi-omics Data of Indian CML Patients and Finding Novel Prognostic Markers Using AI/ML Techniques,” focuses on using cutting-edge artificial intelligence and multi-omics data to tackle treatment resistance in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).

Research Context: CML & Multi-omics
Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) is often characterized by the $BCR:ABL1$ fusion gene. However, many patients develop resistance through mechanisms independent of this gene. This project aims to identify those specific resistance pathways using multi-omics (genomics, transcriptomics, etc.) and AI/ML algorithms to improve patient prognosis.
