The Defence Materials Stores and Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) located in Kanpur, is inviting applications for a Research Associateship (RA) in Chemistry.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Chemistry or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Note: Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also appear for the interview, but the fellowship will only be awarded upon receiving the degree or provisional certificate.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of the interview.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
Fellowship & Benefits
- Monthly Stipend: ₹67,000/- p.m.
- HRA: Eligible as per Government rules.
- Contingency Grant: Up to ₹20,000/- per annum (on a reimbursement basis).
- Medical Facilities: Eligible for self-only medical facilities through the MI Room on campus.
Note: Research Associates are not eligible for other benefits like DA, CCA, Bonus, or Retirement benefits.

Important Instructions for the Interview:
- Interested and eligible candidates must appear in person.
- Carry the following documents:
- Completed Bio-data (in the prescribed format).
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Xerox copies of all testimonials.
- Originals to be produced for verification: Mark sheets, Certificates, Testimonials, Community Certificate (if applicable), GATE/NET Score Card, and a valid ID proof (Aadhar/Voter ID/PAN/Driving License).
- Candidates employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
