NCCS Pune Recruitment 2026: Research Fellowships & Project Positions

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune, an autonomous institution under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), is conducting Walk-in Interviews for several temporary research positions. These projects cover critical areas like ALS-FTD, Niemann Pick disease, Alzheimer’s, and CRISPR technology.

Project Highlights & Desirable Skills

ALS-FTD & Membrane Contact Sites: Requires experience in model systems (Fly, Worm) or Bioinformatics.
Niemann Pick Disease Therapy: Needs skills in genetics, molecular biology, and advanced microscopy.
CRISPR in Chicken Eggs: Focuses on producing human monoclonal antibodies; requires ELISA and molecular biology skills.
Alzheimer’s Drug Repurposing: Prefers experience in Mass Spectrometry, proteomics, and the Drosophila model.

Walk-in Interview Details

Candidates must appear in person. Online interviews will not be conducted.

Primary Interview Date: 7th April, 2026
Backup Date: 8th April, 2026 (Only for spill-over candidates from the 7th).
Time: 09:30 AM to 06:00 PM
Venue: NCCS, Savitribai Phule Pune University Campus, Ganeshkhind, Pune.

Important Notes

Age Relaxation: 5 years for Women/SC/ST/PH; 3 years for OBC.
Tenure: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project (ranging from 2027 to 2029).
Joining: Selected candidates must join within 15 days of receiving the offer.
