The Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC), under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, has announced multiple contractual positions for various high-impact research projects. These roles span from Project Management to Lab Technicians, focusing on areas like AMR, Genomics, and Vaccine Development.

Eligibility Criteria

For RA/PM: Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or Microbiology. Alternatively, Master’s (M.Tech/M.V.Sc/M.Sc) with 3 years of research experience and at least one SCI journal publication.
For JRF: Post-graduation in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Life Sciences. Candidates with NET/GATE qualification receive higher fellowships.
For Lab Technician: B.Sc. or 3-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology.

Age Limits (as of last date of application):

Project Manager: 45 Years
RA & Project Associate II: 40 Years
JRF & Lab Technician: 35 Years

PM, PSII, RA: Rs. 250
JRF, PAII, LT: Rs. 150

Terms and Conditions

Nature of Post: Purely temporary and contractual for an initial period of 11 months.
Extension: Possible based on performance and project duration.
Interview: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
