Eligibility & Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Master’s Degree (1st Class) in Life Sciences or allied subjects OR a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS) with 4 years of R&D experience in academic or industrial settings.
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Science, Engineering, Technology, Pharma, or MD/MS from a recognized university.
Technical Expertise & Nature of Work
The role involves cutting-edge genetic research. Desirable skills and daily tasks include:
- Genome Editing: Specifically using Zebrafish models.
- Laboratory Assays: Cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques.
- Genomics: Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation and sequencing.
- Analysis & Reporting: Bioinformatics data analysis, manuscript preparation, and technical presentations.
