NIPER Guwahati Recruitment 2026: CCRAS Fellowships for Pharma & Science Graduates

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Guwahati (NIPER-G), an Institute of National Importance, has announced vacancies for research positions under a CCRAS-sponsored project. The project, titled “Pre-clinical evaluation of coded drug Ayush Manas as adjunct therapy to prevent chemotherapy-induced Neuropathy and Cognitive impairment in experimental animals,” is a collaborative effort with CARI Guwahati.

Vacancy Details

Key Eligibility Criteria

• National Exam Requirement: For SRF positions, a valid score in GPAT, GATE, CSIR-NET, or equivalent Central Govt. entrance exams is mandatory.
• Age Limit (as of 01.05.2026):
  • SRF: Max 32 years.
  • Project Assistant: Max 30 years.
  • Relaxation: Up to 3 years for SC/ST/OBC, PwD, and Women applicants.
• Desirable Skills: * SRF-01: Experience with HPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and analytical method validation.
  • SRF-02: Expertise in NDDS (nanoparticles, liposomes), herbal formulations, and QbD/DoE.
  • Project Assistant: Lab maintenance, reagent preparation, and histopathological techniques.

Selection & Appointment

• Mode of Selection: * SRF: Performance in the interview.
  • Project Assistant: Interview or a combination of Written Test + Interview (based on applicant volume).
• Tenure: Initial appointment is for one year, extendable for another year based on performance and fund availability.
• Interview Format: Candidates are encouraged to attend physically, though an online option is available for those unable to travel.
