IIT Hyderabad Seeks Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow for Cipla Consultancy Project

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) has an immediate opening for a Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry. This position is part of a consultancy project funded by Cipla, a major pharmaceutical company.

Project and Role

Project Title: Cipla Consultancy Project
Principal Investigator (PI): Prof. C. Malla Reddy
Duration: The position is for 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and fund availability.
Fellowship: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of ₹75,000 per month.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry and at least 2-3 years of postdoctoral experience in pharmaceutical solid-state chemistry and polymorph screening of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients).
Desirable Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with a range of analytical techniques, including SC-XRD, PXRD, DSC, TGA, Solid-state NMR, FT-IR, RAMAN, DVS, and PLM/HSM. Experience in screening for various solid forms like polymorphs, salts, co-crystals, and amorphous forms is also highly desired.
