
The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) – ACTREC in Navi Mumbai is seeking motivated Scientific Officers for its oncology research and diagnostics wing. This position is offered through an outsourced manpower contractor and provides a prestigious opportunity to work within an autonomous body of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates from a broad range of biological sciences are eligible to apply:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech in Zoology, Medical/Human Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Applied Biology, or Cytogenetics.
- Mandatory Experience: Minimum six months of practical experience in Cytogenetics or Molecular techniques.
- Age Limit: Up to 30 years (Relaxable for candidates with significant relevant experience).
Key Technical Skills Required
The role focuses on advanced diagnostic and research methodologies. Candidates should be familiar with:
- Molecular Techniques: DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and sequencing.
- Cytogenetics: Karyotyping and FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization).
