IISER Berhampur Recruitment: Project Fellow in Metabolomics & AI

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Berhampur, an autonomous Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, is inviting applications for a Project Fellow position. This research project, funded by the Science and Technology Department, Govt. of Odisha, focuses on cutting-edge clinical biomarkers for neonatal health.

Eligibility & Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science.

Job Requirements & Nature of Work:

  • Research Focus: Interest in blood-based metabolomics, cytokine profiling, and NMR Spectroscopy.
  • Clinical Coordination: The role involves traveling to clinical sites across Odisha (MKCG Berhampur, KIMS Bhubaneswar, SCB Cuttack) for blood sample collection and processing.
  • Lab Work: Performing advanced metabolic and cytokine profiling at the IISER Berhampur facility.
