The Department of Biotechnology at NIPER Kolkata is inviting applications from Indian citizens for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. This role is part of a time-bound project sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) focusing on advanced immunotherapy for cancer.

Project Details

Project Title: “Design and development of Synthetic Bispecific Aptamer Constructs to Redirect T-cells for Precision Immunotherapy of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma”
Focus: Engineering DNA and peptide aptamer constructs and evaluating their efficacy via in vitro and in vivo studies.
Duration: 36 months (subject to annual performance evaluation).

Mandatory Qualification	GPAT / NET / GATE (Qualification is compulsory)
Essential Education	PG Degree (including Integrated PG) in Medicinal Chemistry or Life Sciences [M.Sc. / M.S. (Pharm.) / Equivalent].
Desirable Skills	Experience in Peptide Synthesis, Organic Synthesis, or Molecular Biology Techniques.
