
The Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA), a center of the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), is seeking to hire a Consultant – Quality Assurance (Clinical Research). This position offers a significant opportunity for experienced professionals in the life sciences and pharmacy fields to contribute to public health research and development.
Position Details
- Post: Consultant – Quality Assurance (Clinical Research)
- Emoluments: A consolidated salary of ₹1,50,000 per month.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years as on the closing date of the application.
- Tenure: This is a short-term project-based position. Extensions are subject to satisfactory performance and project duration.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- A Doctorate in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or Clinical Sciences.
- OR A Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, or Clinical Research.
- OR An MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, or BVSc degree.
- Work Experience: You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance within clinical research. You must also be certified in GCP/GCLP (Good Clinical Practice/Good Laboratory Practice).
Desired Skills and Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have auditing and inspection experience, a strong understanding of both Indian (DBT, ICMR, CDSCO) and global (EMA, FDA, WHO) regulatory guidelines, and a proven track record of managing quality systems in clinical trial and laboratory settings.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conducting internal and external audits of clinical sites and laboratories.
- Ensuring all research activities comply with regulations and institutional SOPs.
- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Preparing for and participating in regulatory inspections and sponsor audits.
- Providing quality oversight for laboratory activities and ensuring GCLP compliance.
