PGIMER, Chandigarh is inviting applications for a temporary position of Project Research Scientist-I to join a major clinical trial in the Department of Gastroenterology. This project is approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, and focuses on treating acute pancreatitis.
About the Project
The research project is titled “Early Intervention with Low Molecular Weight Heparin (Enoxaparin) for Prevention of Moderate to Severe Acute Pancreatitis: A Double-Blind Placebo Controlled Investigator Initiated Multicenter.” The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in this study, which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an early intervention strategy in preventing the progression of a severe medical condition.
Position Details & Qualifications
- Post: Project Research Scientist-I
- Essential Qualifications:
- A first-class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) OR
- A second-class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) with a PhD.
- Desirable Experience:
- Experience in clinical trials for more than one year.
- Background and knowledge in the gastroenterology field.
- Age Limit: The age of the applicant should be less than 30 years.
- Duration: The post is temporary for one year, with the possibility of being extended for up to three years based on performance and project requirements.
Remuneration
- 1st and 2nd Year: ₹67,200 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹70,560 per month
