The CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB), a premier research institution, is inviting applications for several temporary, contractual positions of Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II. Project Associate-II

- Desirable Qualification: Master’s in Biotechnology or Microbiology. Hands-on experience with genomics, human samples, NGS protocols, and NGS data analysis is a plus.
- Work Description: This position is for a project that studies microbial diversity through a metagenomics-based approach. The selected candidate will perform molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and high-throughput sequencing. A minimum of 24 months of experience is required.
- Salary: Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, plus HRA.

Project Associate-I

- Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or equivalent.
- Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or Data Science, with knowledge of programming languages.
- Work Description: The selected candidate will handle and analyze large datasets from genome-wide genotyping arrays and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). The role also involves epigenomic analysis.
- Salary: Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 31,000 per month, plus HRA.
